What
The purpose of Character Camp is to honor and bring together 60 of our finest high school students across Pennsylvania who demonstrate exceptional character. Character Campers become equipped with strategies and resources that not only develop their own character, but also teach them to become "character advocates" and "character leaders" of their respective schools and communities. For example, student attendees will receive a copy of the book, Becoming The Best Me 2nd edition (featuring 10 Character Essentials), and produce a Character Action Plan to take back to their school and community to help lead character education activities. The camp is very participatory and interactive, and the students become exposed to several "Character Essentials" including interpersonal sensitivity, respect for diversity, community service, conflict resolution, facing adversity, and teamwork. See the Highlights section on our web site to learn more about Character Camp!
Cost
Thanks to our sponsors all camp attendees will be awarded half-price "Characterships" or Character Scholarships - a $125 value! Only a $125 registration fee for the three days is required with the registration form (PDF). Please make checks payable to "JAZ Consulting."
